EXPEL is a selective, post-emergent herbicide that controls difficult weeds such as yellow nutsedge, purple nutsedge and green kyllinga in as little as 1 to 2 days. How it Works: EXPEL is foliar and root absorbed and works by blocking the production of chlorophyll and causing rapid membrane breakdown and leaf browning.
